Dharma Talk: Gratitude

Our guest speaker, Soun Kosetsu Randy Earl, began formal Zen training with Taiun Elliston Roshi after moving to Atlanta and joining the Atlanta Soto Zen Center.

He took the precepts in 2003.  Although further moves took him away from Atlanta, he continued to train remotely and during retreat visits, taking the vows for Shukke Tokudo in 2013.

Kosetsu has served as Zen Chaplain at the North Carolina State University for several years and is currently an STO member at-large, supporting the STO sangha on the board and web committee.

Professionally, Soun Kosetsu served as an Experience Manager with a successful web solutions company.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix.  He currently resides in Raleigh, NC.

Kosetsu and I have known each other for about twenty years and have worked on a number of STO activities. Please join us Tuesday night September 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM/EDT in person at our Zendo at the First Congregational Church of Falmouth or on Zoom at: https://zoom.us/j/7096899032?status=success#success and the password FSZS

Bowing,

Sangaku
